Time to remake the home of the World's First Inter-City Railway
The North West has long been the Northern powerhouse of British industry. Home to over half a million businesses, the region has the third largest economy in the UK. From Blackpool’s Pleasure Beach to Liverpool’s historic docks, the North West is at the heart of Britain’s industrial heritage.
Since the campaign launched, we’ve visited the North West several times, holding a supporters event in Warrington and a business roundtable in Manchester.
We’ve also campaigned hard to get the Mottram Bypass built.
Britain Remade in
the North West
The problems Britain faces today - things like the cost-of-living and energy bills, the lack of affordable houses, and the loss of industry - are problems we can overcome. Our campaign is listening to your concerns and ideas and working to develop practical solutions to improve things. We’re here to act on your behalf and make sure Westminster is listening.

Warrington Pub Night
We held a reception at the White Hart pub in Warrington, bringing together supporters and businesses.
Business Roundtable
In conjunction with the local chamber of commerce, we met with businesses to discuss the economy of Greater Manchester.
Mottram Bypass
We’ve campaigned hard to stop the dither and delay preventing the A57 Mottram Bypass from being built.
North West Calendar
Over the next year we’ll be hosting a series of events with Britain Remade supporters in the North West.
