Responding to the latest GDP figures, Sam Richards, CEO of pro-growth campaign group Britain Remade, said:

“While the U.K. may have staved off falling into a recession for another month, the country’s rapidly falling growth figures show we need to let Britain get building and fast - more homes, better transport links, and new sources of clean energy are all needed.

“If we want to see good-quality, well paid jobs delivered government needs to move fast to remove the hurdles that all too often lead to dither and delay for major infrastructure projects.”
